Join Your Lives in a Moving Ceremony that Reflects
Your Special, Unique Relationship
I value the importance of personalized weddings. Your wedding ceremony should be respectful and expressive of your special view of marriage, whether the choice is to have a traditional or nontraditional ceremony.
I also welcome same sex marriage ceremonies. I recently officiated my first "legal" same sex ceremony with a couple I had officiated at their "union" ceremony 13 years ago! (See testimonial link).
Bottom line: I believe your wedding ceremony should be personable, celebratory and reflective of your own humanistic, spiritual or religious beliefs. I will help you decide and also respect your own preference as to how to reference or not reference those beliefs in your ceremony..
Welcome to my website! I have officiated many, many weddings and I have to say, I have enjoyed every one of them! Why? Because it is such a special day celebrating the wedding couple’s love for each other. I believe the wedding ceremony should reflect a couple's best dreams, hopes and aspirations, whether it is a small wedding with just the two of them or a wedding attended by hundreds of family and friends. I love it. And I love helping couples make that day as meaningful as possible for them.
I don’t see myself as some “legal officiant” who comes to just do the legal stuff. No, I see myself as a wedding officiant who loves and believes in what he does. I am closely involved with each couple in the creation of their own special ceremony, making it indeed a day that is reflective of the couple’s own excitement, passion and vision. I believe it should be a day of joy, laughter, and yes, sometimes, tears.
So if you choose me as your officiant, my goal is to help you make decisions about your wedding ceremony that are important to you. When we meet, I will want to hear your story and explore with you the kind of ceremony you envision, how you want to celebrate your relationship and the vows you will want to share.
Whether you prefer a religious, non religious, spiritual, civil or interfaith ceremony, we'll create a ceremony that will be personable, meaningful and will joyfully celebrate the vitality and strength each of you brings to your unique relationship. More details? Go to: Creating Your Ceremony
If you prefer a small ceremony with just the two of you or with a few family members and friends present, I will help you create and experience a moment of intimacy and joy on your special day that you will always treasure.
