I am an ordained minister with a Master
of Divinity degree from Southern Theological Seminary,
Louisville, KY. Registered in New York since 1981,
I have officiated
at hundreds of weddings in every kind of venue from
a small Manhattan chapel to a large Hudson yacht, from
atop the Empire State Building to a Westchester restaurant
to a small family home. And I have done so to the great
satisfaction of the couples, their family and friends.

I have also served a Westchester Unitarian
Universalist congregation as their minister for the
last 15 years and am a published author, lecturer
and counselor. I also have a Masters degree in
psychology, and I
am a certified marriage and family therapist, a clinical
member of the American Association for Marriage and
Family therapists, and have received additional training
from various schools of relationship counseling.
I have a private psychotherapy and relationship counseling
practice in Manhattan. While I specialize in marital
counseling I also offer pre-marital educational counseling
where I help couples define their goals, appreciate
their strengths and differences and offer helpful
instruction on communication skills and conflict
resolution. I do not require couples who invite me
to officiate their weddings to participate in the
pre-marital counseling, but I am happy to talk about
it with those who are interested and perhaps then
administer the program. (Click on Partnering
