I am an ordained Unitarian Universalist minister. Registered in New York since 1981, I have officiated at hundreds of weddings in every kind of venue from a small Manhattan chapel to a large Hudson yacht, from atop the Empire State Building to a Westchester restaurant to a small family home. And I have done so to the great satisfaction of the couples, their family and friends.
I also served a Unitarian Universalist congregation in Westchester County as their minister for over 20 years and am a published author, lecturer and counselor. I hold Masters degrees in theolgoy and also psychology, and I am a certified New York state licensed marriage and family therapist. While I specialize in marital counseling I also offer pre-marital educational counseling where I help couples define their goals, appreciate their strengths and differences and offer helpful instruction on communication skills and conflict resolution. I do not require couples who invite me to officiate their weddings to participate in the pre-marital counseling, but I am happy to talk about it with those who are interested and perhaps then administer the program. I am married with three children and two grandchildren.
